green slime for the carb needles...

so is there anything i can use in place of the green slime to seal up the carb needles that may be a little more available...

Most hobby shops that carry parts, carry the green slime. I paid about $2 for it a couple of months ago when I rebuilt a pair of shocks.

well the problem is that there isn't a hobby shop within 2 hours from here...used to be but it closed....anything else i can use ??

Maybe try petroleum jelly???
