I was on my first flight with my new engine in my plane and had a bad crash. I live in Mn. and the snow had just melted off of our road and figured Id take advantage of it. So I took the plane out got her tuned for the 35F temps and took off. I did a few loops and a few rolls when all of a sudden it did a straight nosedive down. I couldnt recover from it and drove it straight down into a frozen, snow covered, plowed feild. When I went up to it the new motor was hanging out, the nose cone was busted, my backplate was broke, my motor mounts were cracked, some picket rockers were broke, my front crossmember was busted and the whole motor was packed tight with dirt and crap. I got everything fixed so far but am waiting on a few parts from tower so she should be up and flying here preatty quick.

holy crap!!! i always wanted a plane but feared this would happen i give you all the credit in the world if it was me i would put in on the road and finish it off with my truck!!! must have lost some big bucks huh?thers a few guys that fly electric gliders and they fly so damn high you can hardly see them...its wild i think i would have to get rid of my wife before i get a plane probably cheaper to get rid of wife...you know them damn girls and them hand bags dooney and burke coach 200-300 a pop....good luck with the plane and no more margaritas before flying....lol

Yeah I Figured it was a $250 crash. So it was preatty spendy. Flying is addictive. Just as addictive as bashing. Its very fun though. It costs about the same as a Nitro truck without the mods. You can get a preatty kick ass plane and all the gear to get it in the air for $400. I got mine off of Ebay for $200 with a 7 channel Futuba contols. I just had to get a roto start, glow ignitor, a battery/charger for the roto start and fuel. Id definatly try it. Its loads if fun, but will get costly when 1st trying to fly it.
