Not sure if anyone else every uses this but I have found a great air filter oil. Go to autozone and pic up some of the K&N filter oil! It comes in a aresol spray can which is very handy to use while at the track, and it also come with a bottle of cleaner that works really well for cleaning the filters after a day at the track.

I've heard that oil isn't good for R/C filters....it's not thick enough. If you really want an aerosol spray, go get some oil made for dirtbike or ATV filters, it's the same stuff you get in a squeeze bottle for R/C foam filters.

I use to stage filters, and I have been spraying the outer filter with this on extremely dusty tracks, and have had great results! my inner foam filter element has been clean as a whistle.

Personally I have a quart of Penzoil premium 2 cycle oil (blue), I have a 10 oz squirt botttle I have filled with this stuff for easy use, as far as cleaning my filter I soak them in hot soapy water, if I need to a clean filter while I'm out bashing, well that's why I have 3 extra filters that are ready to go, just pop out the dirty one (carefully! Don't want any dirt getting down the carb) and put in a clean one..............as soon as I see that one is getting worn a little I go buy a new one to take it's place.:jester:
