ok u may or may not have seen my vids but my last one was an attempted back flip well today i went out and did one (vid tomorrow ) any way on landing i blew my back diff and i dont no what grease to use when rebuilding my diff any help willl be apprieciated:preachin:

The challenge is killing your truck.

When you rebuild the diff, install the four spider gear mod.

Since I am kind of new to the whole diff scene, I'll let someone else recommend a silicone/oil weight. I just put 60,000 in my diffs and have not had a chance to run the truck.

Well honestly depends if you use your truck as an offroad rock crawler or a street machine or a little of both. The recommended kind of diff fluid when you do your mod is ofna silicone diff locking fluid. With this stuff it will offer you a limited slip diff in various weights from 1kto 10k. If running traditional diff fluid and want that kind of action as far as getting the diff locking action you will want to run with something like sky is running. I just put 5k weight in both diffs. It's hella fast like that. Not much of a rock crawler but I don't do that kinda bashing.

LOL...the 60000 is far from diff locking. It is actually quite smooth. I think it compares to something along the lines of 5-7k in the measure you are speaking.
