Got to see my kid for the first time!

Hey guys,

I got to see my kid for the first time today. My wife had her first appointment today and they did a sonogram (sp). I got to see my little coffee bean! I can't tell you how cool of a feeling that was. To see what my wife and I were able to create.... words just can't describe. We are only 10 weeks in so far, so we still have a way to go. I was not able to be there with her though. My boss is out for two weeks so I get to be the boss for the next two weeks. So I was not able to get away to be there with her. It sucked too.... she got to see the heart beat. That had to be amazing. The only solice I have is that there will be another sonogram at 20 weeks. I won't miss that one if I can help it! Well I just thought I would share the great news. Take care guys.

Cool!!! That is one of the greatest feelings....only surpassed by the birth experience.

You are on your way man.....in no time you will have a little one under foot in the "Hobby Palace".

Man is it ever cool! Thanks Talon my man. I am already starting to walk around with my chest puffed out... pointing at that picture.... saying that's my kid!! We are hoping for a boy... but as long as it is healthy that is all that matters.

That was exactly how I was, hoped for a boy but as long as it was healthy it wouldnt have mattered. Congrats man!

My second son looked like a jumbo cheeseburger to me the first time I saw the ultrasound.....and until he was about 4 and a half I called him that as a nickname....we still laugh together about it.

Cherish the moments all....they will slip away.

Congrats, that is one of the coolest experiences out there. You will love it when you can feel the baby kick, just try to get the smile off your face, I bet you can't do it. Myself, just a couple more weeks left till the diapers and midnight feedings start.

My wife is 4 months and we have yet to take a peek. We are afraid that they will spoil it for us.
