I got some glue on tires and wheel putting my bowties on today will anything take it of without ruining the wheel shine (chrome pro lines):horsecrap

i have the same problem, there is not much you can do, i got used to it

You can try using some adhesive remover. I don't know if it will work on CA or not though.

If you're really serious about it you can sand it down with very fine grit sandpaper and then brush on some chrome paint. If you took any kind of time on it I bet it'd look great.

There is CA remover which you should be able to get from your lhs

That crap doesn't work! You're talking about debonder, right? Don't waste your money!

Try some Acetone on a Q-tip (make sure it isn't a plastic Q-tip). That might work as Acetone removes CA glue.
Just be careful around the rim as it might stain the rim. I soak my rims in Acetone to remove the tires when they are worn.

Safe to assume that acetone wont do for plastc rms?

what can be used for plastc rms?
