Alright guys and Gals, I got the new true track A arms and My driveshafts are not long enough to reach the hubs any longer I am running a Big Block conversion on my Maxx and Have the Steel CVD's I believe they are 128.5mm. What I am wondering is if Traxxas or someone makes a CVD that is a wee-bit longer. I need something at least 145mm to give me a good solid fit. does anyone know of where I can get something that will work.

I have a big block conversion on my T-Maxx. The cvd's don't seem long enough. I will give it another shot today and see if I can get them to work. I don't know if the cvd's that came with the conversion kit are shorter than maxx cvd's I will look into them at my LHS and see if there is a difference. thanks for the reply.

I have the true track's with the traxxas outer CVD's and no problems. The EXT. chassis has nothign to do with the A-arm length and the true tracks are the same size as all 3.3 and 2.5r arms. Your bearings in the kuckle probably arent seated all the way if the shafts seem too short.

Do you know the length of your CVD's? I bought the truck with the conversion already in it and I don't know if they are tmaxx cvd's or not. I have made sure that the bearings are all the way seated into the carriers. I will try some different things with the truck later this evening and see if something will fit but there was a very large gap. Is there a difference in length if you have the wide A-arms?

if your truck has the 2.5 suspension setup then yes the shafts are to long. The rpm kit is designed for the 3.3 maxx which has longer driveshafts. You can get mip or traxxas cvds for a 3.3 and then it will fit.

If you have a pro.15 max or older 2.5max with stock arms then the shafts may be too short. If you had rpm arms already on the truck prior to installing the treu track then there shouldnt be a difference. Easy way to find out is check the upper arm on the true tracks vs. the arms you took off. If the true tracks are longer then you have the older 2.5 suspension and will need longer shafts that came in the 3.3 or you will need the 3.3 CVD's

i have the .26 converstion and the truetrack and it works fine

I'm pretty sure that I made the mistake at the LHS and got the wide true track arms and they are...... well just a bit wider got the problem solved now though.

Yeah, the old 15 pro max had a shorter arm than the 2.5 maxx. I don't know if the extended it again when they went to a 3.3 or not.

RPM used to sell both the shorter and longer standard arms for the maxx and you had to be careful to get the right ones.

Have you had a chance to run the rig with tru track arms yet? I just put them on my Revo tonight, still waiting for diff parts before I can run it. I'm going to order the front arms also. I'm dying to try them out.

Haven't ran it yet fixing the fiances truck and then were both going to play. My trigger finger is getting itchy though. I also installed RRP DIffs in both front and back. Got Pic of the finished product on my profile. I can't figure out how to post them anywhere else.
