When I drove up at the hobby shop one of the guys that works there was finishing up the break in on a Revo 3.3. It was still running rich but when he cleared the carb it showed good power. The longer chassis seems to help keep it on all fours, he was running on concrete and it took some sharp corners very well, also looks better IMO. I shot the bull with him while he ran 2 tanks through it (#6 & 7) and I was very close to buying one. They had one left and it was the color I wanted, not sure how long I can hold out.....My wife is going to kill me LOL

Ahhh O know the feeling all too well. I am hoping to have satisfaction tomorrow at RCX. What pricing were you getting?

I've been doing some serious sweet talking, lots of honey do's, giving early Mothers day gifts...Basically sucking azz to get what I want LOL

I have three hobby shops within a hour from me from high to low

$569.99
$549.99
$524.00 limited time then goes to $549.99

Online price

$499.99 shipped.

Hopefully I can pick one up tomorrow for $524, if they still have them in stock. If not I'll probably order it.

revo 3.3

my friend and i just got a revo 3.3's 4 days ago. i only ran 8 tanks in mine so far. let me tell u them trucks are no joke. just after we broke them in we tuned them. we only had to mess with the high end needle and it was tuned. the longer chassis doesn't really help keep 4 wheels on the ground. both of ours will just flip on its lid insantaniously the second u gun the throttle. i can't belive how fast they are. the handling is great even on pavement. i also have the tmaxx 3.3 and the handling is no comparison.

When I said the longer chassis seems to help I meant the handling not wheelies.

i know the feeling all to well, but i am with you man i want one of those 3.3 revos so bad. my LHS here in dallas is selling the 3.3 revos for $499.99. when i went and bought the t-maxx 3.3 she almost divorced me, so if i wanted to seal the deal i could just go buy the revo. :whip:

well I got the Revo 3.3 but have yet to start her. Need to check all screrws are snug and loctited where needed. Got it at RCX for 469.99 plus tax. Online @ hobbypeople is 509.99... Keep checkin!

I bought my Revo 3.3 at Ultimate Hobbies dot com. They are a great online store to deal with. The Revo 3.3 was the second truck I bought from them and they were great both times. The only thing is you don't pick your color. They send you what they have. That doesn't bother me though. I only paid $499.95 shipped! Great deal!

I can also empathize with the wife comment. If it wasn't for my birthday, I wouldn't have the 3.3. :hehe:
