Wha..... what did he get? An 8 port? Does he even have a savage? Oooooh he just got his Savage!!! Sweeeet man. Congrats and have a good time at the zoo. Throw some poo at the monkeys for me. Those sukers got me one time.

Sweet .. ok since we took bet how fast el would break his new on any bets on time for skymaxx to break the savage ill take 30 mins on him too :)
 
I almost brought home a Hyper 21 8 Port, too. They had them for $149. Talk about a steal, but a man has to pay for groceries. Maybe next paycheck.
 
Congrats Sky! Its about time you bough a 'Mans' truck hehehe.... You should like it a lot! Dont worry, I still havent sold my Maxx.

Oh, and just so you know, the Hyper .21 bb will do good for a while. Wait til you beat it to no end THEN go get the 8 port. Keep the following in mind:

1. It will take upwards of 6 to 7 tanks before you hit second gear. Be patient.

2. LokTite that tranny set screw before you even start it for the first time.

3. Get a hump pack and a failsafe if you can swing it. It WILL take off on you at least once. The hump pack will drive the steering servo harder for ya. Yes, as with the maxx, you must pickup the 5645mg when possible.

Other than that, HAVE FUN!
 
You guys should have seen him drooling over the counter this afternoon. It was bad enough of a dent out of his pocket for the savage but all of the "extras" he bought with it really took the cake. It's alright, I bought a few things more than I planned for my RS4 as well. We'll see how Sky likes his new Savage and how I like my RS4 on Sunday when we bash.
 
I was drooling over a savage today my son was telling me buy it buy it i told him no that mary would be made (the old ball and chain ) so he stands there a minute and says just dont tell her .. got to love kids :banana:
 
I almost forgot about the guy in the parking lot that was trying to dial in his totally upgraded that he had. I think the only stock part left was the tranny, at least the case that is. The one thing I did notice was that the guy looked like his RC habit was all show and no go. Everything was pristine on his savage and the thing was running like crap.
 
Yup...I'm thinking of going back tomorrow and picking up the Hot Bodies shocks and Hyper 21. Just need to figure out where to take the money from and how to do it without ticking off my better half.

I could stand to go thin for a week, but my kids might have issues with that. BTW I like the like son like father approach you have taken. :D
 
i didnt have the cash to buy it or i would have but i think i for see one in next few months now that I've been recalled to work.

your right kids do seem to complaine a little about going thin :D

He might be ablw to go a week, but that second week until pay day might be a little thin!

I fell your pain: I'm E-4 w/ Wife & 2 Kids! Soon to be E-5, the extra $200 a month will help, a lot!
 
ah so other people suffer that stupid 2 weeks to payday crap man i hate that makes it hard to go spend all the money i know
