Who's got lights?? Got some cool pics? I'm looking for ideas after I saw that episode of Xtreeme4x4 on spike with the scale Green Truggie build with the green lights. :D

I'm thinking of getting some lights for when it gets a little dark and also for the cool factor. Batt upgrade? Batt gauge? I know LED's don't draw much, but has anyone noticed decreased batt life with them?

This system runs off a 9V battery and has 6 separate channels operated by a remote control.

Shelf queen.. :hehe: I'm so used to hearing garage queen..

They sell some cheap kits at the local store. I'm running by tomorrow and going to try and NOT drop another $90 there.

Is there an online store where you can shop by VEHICLE? I like the selection of the local place's site, and Tower has good selection, but confusing and a little overwhelming.

I've been plumbing for 15 years and have 0 electronics soldering experiance.
all parts except the receiver/servo wire plug thing or a servo Y
came from radioshack. the leader came from burnt servo but your LHS has them.

2 bright white leds @ 3$
2 chrome led holders @ 5$
2 resistors , bulk pack @ 2$
heat shrink 5$
left over lexan trimming for mount to bumper
zip ties ........... owned in abundace of sizes

i have always on, when the reciver is on, headlights.
not as fancy as above mentioned kit but i made them myself. with more practice i intend to make a full light kit for my parma Skool Bus body

total time spent:
1 hour to go to the shack
30 minutes to lay out
10 minutes to solder
20 minutes to install

total cash spent:
20$
