Can anyone recommend a good tyre to fit the standard rims??

for off road use, someone has told me to get some "pin" tyres, are these good or can you recommend others.

bow ties are always good and if not go for sumthing big and bad like mashers i dunno theres so many too choose from check out www.prolineracing.com

woops sorry dude i didnt even realize what forum we were in but actually they got bow ties for monster truck but they work even better for stadium trucks. but ya they mashers are great and also check out those dirt hawg thing they got al sort of crazy nobbbies ok bye

ok, thanks.

can you tell me what the difference is between ½” offset and standard offset and how it may effect the running of the truck.

The offset tells you how far the rims stick out when compared to the stock setup. The distance between the outside edge of the front left tire to the front right tire is 16.25" (414 mm). So if you get a set of offset rims which add 1/2" offset, your new increased width would be 16.75'.

Advantages:
Increasing width will give you more stability.

Disadvantages:
Increasing width will make your turning radius bigger.

Thanks for the advice all, I just got to find a supplier in the Uk now.

Having purchased any yet, the good lady has put the padlock on my wallet for a month or so. Guess I'll be looking around for a while yet.
