hey guys i just got my RB TM523 for my 3.3 revo and I'm going to break it inn..and i just want to know what are a good brand of fuel to use for break inn/daily use?

what are you guys using?

When I ran nitro, I used O'donnells race blend 30% in my Ninja .21.
 
traxxas or odonells what i would recommened 20% is best if you wnat life
 
Byron's Gen2 20%, or if you're looking to race, add a head shim and run 30%. I just switched from Top Fuel 20% to Gen2 20% and the difference was night and day.
 
If I were you, I would check and see what brands my LHS carries, and if they have some good ones choose one of those. Most LHS carry at least a few brands of good fuel, and if you run out you can buy it locally in a pinch instead of waiting a week for it to come in. Might keep you from missing a big weekend of bashing.
 
Yeah. I wish my LHS carried this Byron's. I love it and I've only run a single tank. They do have O'Donnels and Trinity Monster Power.
 
My lhs said that odonells race fuel 20% would give me 3000 more rmp than 20% top fuel. Is this true?
 
Probably. Traxxas Top Fuel IMO is not very good for racing. I think it's got too much oil in it or something.

One thing I noticed is that Top Fuel fumes hurt my nose, but when I was running Byron's today, it actually kinda smelled good :wtf:
 
ahh, the smell of nitro. I could wear it as cologne and have a smile on my face all day, oh wait I usually do! The best part is when it really starts to burn your eyes. No better feeling in the world than standing behind a top fuel dragster in the pits while they're warming it up. Eyes burning, feel like your being punched in the chest every time the cam lopes, pure sweetness at its finest...

man I'm with you on that. theres nothing like top fuel dragsters, making your cry with a big smile on your face lol
 
most of my LHS carry blue thunder race/sport but I can get hold of O'donnells traxxas and monster trinity .. Is blue thunder good for break in and bashing?
 
I run Trinity Monster 20%/12% the purple stuff and my truck runs great, I havn't heard much of any thing good about blue thunder though...
