Good deal?

So my buddy is getting out of rc's for good, because he needs money for the truck he wants so I'm thinking about buying his rigs. I was just wondering what you guys thought. I'm going to get the Sportmaxx for 85, broken rear bulk head and body mount, and front skid plate. Second a Associated rc18mt for 15 bucks, no motor. And everyting else he has for them all for 100 all together. I think I'm going to go for it. What do you guys think?

sounds pretty good. does the 18mt come with speed controller? it may be a dumb question, but if it did thats like a $30 18mt that runs

O sorry I forgot to mension. I have a deal going where as soon as I get the 18 I'm selling it for 40$. Then I'm going to use that money to buy the replacement parts for the sport maxx. But the 18 dosent come with a speed controll well it does but its fried. But I dont know if I want to sell it now because I was out bashing my 18 today and cracked the chassie. I'm buying the sport maxx for shure though. Man I was just thinking I'm going to have 7 cars pluse if I get my Associated race rig o-man 8 cars. Wow. I feel gifted, only to think 2 years ago I would have traded a leg for a mini-t.
