I blew my piston and sleeve on my Force 25 after 4 years of racing it over the weekend. i heard that if i send it to Ofna, they will rebuild it for $50, is this true? anyone ever heard this or done it. or is it just a "myth"

In your case, $65.00 will get you a new Force .26 as the .25's are no longer in production and parts are also no longer available. So....we will take your old mill...and your $65.00 and kick you out a new one that would be an upgrade to what you had.

with hpi you can trade in any of thier big block engines and get a brand new .28 for either 100 or 150 bux, i forget which. but if you look on thier site its called thier trade in program.

the traxxas trade is a joke...send them your blown mill and for 100 bucks get a brand new one?????
WTF...I can BUY a brand new one at my LHS for 104....and not have to wait 3-6 weeks for it....or get one on flea bay for 80 bucks.....some "TRADE-IN" program....

i know what your talkin about they tried to do that poop with me too when i had a maxx, i can't tell you how much i hate traxxas and their 2.5pos man that thing is worthless.

yeah i guess, someone told me if you add another shim to the head that that will fix all the problems i wish i would have known that when i bought mine, lol o well.

When I had the 2.5 mill I HATED IT, and thought it was the biggest POS I've ever messed with, But there are alot of people who have had really good luck with it also. I think its about a 50/50 with poopy engines and good ones. I just got a poopy one..lol.. And yeah Traxxas customer service with ANYTHING is a joke. There a bunch of a$$holes over there.
