I like Hexheads, I've run them for the last couple gallons and not a single stripped screw. Also, get a quality set of drivers, they are worth their weight in gold.

I have tried USSF and RC Screwz. The USSF SUCK! way too soft, the heads did not fit the drivers well at all, very sloppy, and stripped even with quality drivers. The RC Screwz are awesome! Nice fit, very good quality screws. I have not stripped one yet, I would highly recommend the RC Screwz kits.

I've had the RCscrews and they don't hold up well to constant maintenance.
I tried the hex screws and they are by far the best i've used to date good fit and very strong

take a look at "get screwed: screw hits from golfing glenn. i have 3 kits from him and all were top quality. he gives u tons of extras too. he can be found on sav-cent...

order the getscrewed kit, will tell how it goes together next week.

If you went to RCX they were damn cheap. 19.00 Savings with tax and shipping.

I like the RCSCREWS myself BUT their allens SUCK big time.

How are they horrible?

tony's screws hands down. i have a set of screwz, they sit. will likely go with 1 of the cars when as they sell. 1 is gone and 1 is on trial to see if it goes or stays.

have to agree with ultegra. Tony makes some good screw packs too. i had a set on my original savage and regret selling it with those screws, but i'm sure you'll like glenns kit. he is a top guy.

as for a decent set of hex drivers, look at the losi drivers 9reasonably priced), hudy (very pricey) or check out sears. u can get a nice set there for a few bucks too...

I like my Dynamite drivers, you can get a set of three for around $20. They are a very comfortable fit in my large hands and the handles are a good size, less cramping compared to a set of racers edge that I previously had. The tips are also holding up well.

I also have a 3mm driver from Losi, very comfortable large handle, a little pricey I paid 13 for mine and it tends to roll off the table.

One of my bashing buddies actually snapped one of those handles while he was wrenching on his Savage. The funny thing was, we were wrenching on our trucks and he was talking about these great hex drivers that he got at the LHS and how strong they were and all of a sudden snap, he broke one right after he praised them for their strength.

Your results may vary of course.
