Hi there new the forum and to rc. I bought a used lst2 of of craigslist and it has been a pain in my a**. Could not get motor to tune, drive train set screws coming loose, clutch bell bearings coming apart and to day took it out to a nearby field ran for about 10 min then it got stuck turned left . Took it home took the horn off the right servo and the left one worked fine. Switched power of then on the servo with out the horn on will reset to neutral but not turn left or right. What I'm asking in this very drawn out post is my servo bad?. thanks for any input.

Gears might be sheared inside it. Buying used is always a crapshoot, never know what you're getting. Best bet is to get two new servos, identical.

Good luck man, hate to see somebody get screwed on a used ride, but it happens.

Thanks for the reply. I figured that would be the way to go just didn't want to admit it. But if the gears had gone wouldn't it not even move to take it back to neutral?

Sometimes there will be just enough to bite without a load. My suggestion is a pair of metal gear servos. Savox makes some great titanium gear servos.
