Gluw plug wire tip.

Yall may have already thought of this but here it goes, well i noticed my glow plug wire is getting messed up every time it flips. So i thought i could just put some fuel line over the wire to prevent this. Well i tried slipping it on and wasn't working so i cut it down the center and put it around the wire. To hold it there i just put some electrical tape aruond it at the begining, middle, and end. If you done have any electrical tape then you could probably substitute zip ties. Havnt fully tested it yet but i think it will work. Just thought id share this with you incase you were having the same problem.

Fuel line slips over it nicely if you have the one with the larger ID. (inside diameter) Normally the pink tubing for airplane engines.

I just used some green tubing that i found at the LHS.

Did it fit over it without slicing it?

I used this and it worked great. Cleaner than electrical tape and it can take the heat.

na i think it wasn't like the air plane fuel line that you used. i think i may have to try that shrink wrap tubing. Never thought of that, Love the ideas.

I don't use that wire anymore, but use a glow ignitor, but the best set up I had was fuel tubing covered with the shrink tube.

For best results, use an open flame like a lighter but move it over the tubing rapidly or it will burn. Hair dryer will not get it tight enough.

I have a pincle torch i think i will use that, ill just make sure not to get it to close. :flamer:
