hi guys why is my glowplug black at the bottom , am i running it to rich? also after about a tank of fuel it gets hard to start my buggy

Sounds like you already know the problem....sounds like you are way too rich and it is fouling out the plug. What are your temps like? You would not want they glow plug to be any darker than say a honey color. Now if you pull the plug and it is white... Hope you did not cook it... ;-)

really I always thought if it was black than it was to lean.. I guess that would explain a couple things then.. l.o.l.

Same thing with spark plugs on a 1/5 scale... A real Dark color is too rich and a real light color or white powder means dangerously lean. I look for a light gold color. That is why it is good to have anextra glow plug when breaking in a new engine because the over rich will foul them out

hi dont no temp as i dont have temp gun yet but it felt hot and smelt when i turned it off ill give it a tune soon as rain stopped , 1 thing guys is it felt nice to drive no bogging out and responsive on the trottle
