I just bought my first traxxis revo 3.3 luv it but have the same problem with the glow plug. Do u really have to take it out every time to do after run maintance?

I got a 3.3 jato engine in REVO and for the 1st 3/4 gallon of fuel it used to eat glow plugs. But now the engine is run in and tuned, plugs last a lot longer.Just one of those things i guess, cos i have a GV HUNTER and only on it's second plug in just under 12 months:)

going thru plugs

I have recently bought a 3.3 Revo and during the break in process it chewed thru Traxxas plugs. Now I have a decent tune and I have found that the engine can run into the 300+ temp ranges and still burns up plugs but I think it isn't that lean, I have turned the HSN way back. I use dynamite fuel 20% and I am not sure if that is any good because it's the only fuel the local hobby shop sells. I have also started using LC4 plugs and I think they are good as are the MC59 plugs which are both better than traxxas plugs. I have had long tuning sessions taking it in increments from lean to more rich - seen the power difference, but I think I just have to let it cool down when it reaches high temperatures. I don't know what to think.
