I have been going through glow plugs like crazy and my engine is tuned perfectly as far as i know, i have literally gone through 3 glow plugs in the past 2 days. What could this problem be i am at a loss:angry:

You could be running to lean. Try to set the engine to factory settings. If the glow plug is wet with fuel when you take it out of your engine, your running to rich. If you tak it out and it's white, then your engine's to lean. Little trick I learned.;) Hope this helps!!!

I think the 3232 are hotter than the 3232x.If you run a plug thats to hot they burn up quicker.I am just throwing this out there but you may want to research this further.Learning to read the plug tells you alot about the tune also.I have been running the 3231 plugs lately.I think they have a slightly heavier element.I have had great luck with these.

thanx chaos i appreciate it alot i will look into it a little further and keep you posted on the progress

+1 on the you may be too lean. In my Jato the stock plug just died on me after nearly a year and a half of running. I would say a gallon of 30%. If I can get that much out of it there is no reason for you to be going through one a day. Man that could get expensive too, glow plugs are not cheap. Keep an eye on your temps and let us know what the plug looks like when it is burn out.

hey joey thanx for the info. . .and i did some re tuning saturday and it seems to be doing alot better. . .the plug is dry and the element is still heating up like it is supposed too. . .but only time will tell. . .and I'm running 15% could that be part of my problem??????

I am not really sure I have never ran anything below 20% in a vehicle. I run 15% in airplanes.....Actually in therory 15% may force you to lean out more to get the power you want. Which would make you run hotter....burning out glow plugs. It is reaction between the nitro and the platinum element that keeps the glow going between firing cycles. Maybe you should try 20% fuel after this can runs out.

thats a pretty good idea. . .i will do that this jug is almost gone n e wayz. . .i run it ALOT!!!.. . but thats what its there for. . .but yea i will def try a higher percentage fuel next round and see if it helps. . .thanx alot
