hey guys I'm kind of a noob when it comes to rc ing but i was wondering about the glow plugs i am lucky if i get a half hour on one glow plug like as soon as i shut my tmaxx down and stop playing with it it seems my glow plug goes bad imediatley does anybody know what is wrong and i even am buyin the ones that are recommended but still nothing and i hate to keep buying 5$ glow plugs one after another and only getting 30min-1 hour on them =( if you guys could plz help i would appreciate it thanks, josh =)

i have a t-maxx 2.5, i have not replace the glow plug in my truck all season, Over 2 gallons!!!!! Just depends on the plug and your tune. Also we need more info,,, what does your plug look like when you replace it. Is it burnt, is it dripping wet, is it white. We can tell you what is wrong if you give us more info.

what part of the plug? it was dry and the bottom is black but the spring inside is clean also the tip and the coil inside look like they did new. i did notice my truck was smoking when i was runnig it and also it wouldnt run with the body on if that helps too

ok thanks guys i will have to mess with the adjustment thurs then. thanks alot =D

with the body on if i would touch the gas it woulud stall so tom I'm gunna run it again the back right window i cut a lil out and ran it out like a wing so when i run it it will get air and which screw do i wanna be turing to fix it so its not lean?

You need to turn the high speed needle to the left. Think of it like this, the neelde is a clock, you want to turn it 1 hour at a time

the high speed one is the one on the carb right? haha I'm new to this :-P

hey how would i turn the screw for diff type of temp outside and how will i know when it is set were it should be ? thanks.josh

to adjust for cold you do this if its colder richer and warmer leaner since if you pay attention in science class ('caugh' caugh') you would know that the colder the air or any gaseus matter is the denser it is visa versa

hahaha so your telling me if i dont sleep in science i would learn this stuff lol haha thanks for your help

yup i do that but I'm just naturally gifted well the school can't catch up with me

i pimped my tmaxx i painted the stock tires red and the very front shocks and the very rear shocks red

Well there's your problem, Its a 2.5....:D

Something I noticed in your pictures is that your running still with the blue wire from the EZ starter. You should get rid of that and buy a Glow starter. Will save you lots of headaches. Also buy a OS A3 plug for it.

Hope that helps.

turn it an hour (so all the way around and a lil past where it was) that would be like a clock right:p:
