I'm not sure if my glow plug or my glow plug lighter is messed up. I charged my lighter all night, and when i put it on the glow plug everything makes that twitchy movment really fast. But the little needle on top will not go to the green it just stays in red.

Thanks.

When you say everything is twitching I assume you mean the servos? Not sure whats up with that if it is the servos, maybe a grounding problem or exposed wire. Easiest way to see if the glow plug or igniter is bad to remove the plug from your engine and put it into your igniter and you will be able to see if its glowing, if it does your meter is bad and joust not showing that it is getting current, if it doesn't try another plug to see if just that plug is bad. If it does glow make sure you remove it from the igniter with pliers as it will be VERY hot.

Thanks for the Advice

What i meant was whenever i plug it in, the brake and throttle things kinda twitch for a second. OK ill try what you said.....I plugged the ignighter up and the light on the charger and it's ussually red, does this mean anything?

doesn't it mean that it is charging when ur charger light is on, correct me if I'm wrong but mine work like that. As long as its plugged-in the light(red light) stays on(on the charger that is). And did ur igniter make ur glow plug light up when you tried it? If not i think ur batt in the igniter could be BYBY:constipat

I thikn my problem is my glow plug. How do you take ou tthe glow plug??

8MM socket or a glow plug wrench. Just attach wrench and rotate counter-clockwise. It should come right out.

Be gentle when removing and reinstalling the glowplug. You can very easily cross thread the cooling head. Be observant of the small copper washer that should be on the glowplug. As recommended, remove the plug and test it. If your ignitor is fully charged, and the plug is good, it should light up very bright. If it lights up to a dull glow, you need a new battery in your ignitor.. Good luck

I got a new glow plug. I tested it to make sure that it wasn't my ignighter. The only problem is that the old one doesn't want to unscrew.

Its WOrks

OK thanks. I got a new spark plug and I got the old one to come out and it runs great.

Thanks

Glow plugs do seem to just die. They'll work great and running fast one day, and the next they are dead.

Yep...

Yeah your right. It was doing just fine one day but it was totally dead the next.
