I just finished breaking in my motor and started to mess with the carb and try some different settings. I found the one I liked and it ran real good but I went through 3 glow plugs in one weekend. Is this something caused because of how lean I run my fuel mixture? Or just how I run the car?

If it is because of my carb settings, what is a good place to set them from stock?

Every engine has a different sweet spot. There are no certain settings that work for a certain engine. Your most likely too lean. How's your temps?

Saturday when I went through the first one, she was fine temp wise (right around 200). Yesterday, I reset the carb and started all over again. I got to a point where it ran real good for most of the day and then I rolled it one time and she cut out and wouldnt restart. Found the glow plug was done and replaced it and then an hour later it went out. The time the second one went out, she was really hot (much hotter than the previous setting on Saturday, but I had the settings more rich so it didnt make sense).
