Glow plug problems

Hey guys I'm have some trouble with the glow plug in my truck, i took the plug out of the truck and i tested it, it got hot but it didnt glow the bright red like it usual would, is the plug just bad or is there a problem with the plug itself. If anyone can help me out with this problem it would be great thanks guys

Is your igniter fully charged? If it is and the plug won't get bright,it's time to toss it and get a new one.

No it not my starter i just put in a brand new batterie in it, so i guess its time to just get a new glug

Yeah a new glow plug should do the trick... Sometimes they still get orange/red just not 100%
