I can't be sure if the coloring is strictly from today (1 tank) but I decided to snap a couple shots of my plug since I had it off. It seems to me that it's a bit darker than it should be. The wire isn't white but silver shimmery.. the last coil sort of looks like it might be a tad white but the rest looks silverish and shiny. I'd say about half of the plug is golden and the rest of it is darker than golden. The temps only got up to a round 170 with the head wrapped in foil and ambient temp in the mid 50's. Throttle response in the low range was doggish but from approx. 50% throttle on up the power was great. Idle sounds ok but the truck did stall after less than 10 seconds of idle. I ran about 70% of tank 1.

Second tank I attempted a couple things... I thought I might be rich on the low end so I turned the LSN lean about as much as the screw line is wide. I couldn't get it to stay running this way. Considerably more fuel out of the exhaust and it would stall out after about 2 seconds after I removed the ignitor. I moved the LSN back the way it was and it started fine and idled ok for a few seconds untill I started to drive. got to the end of the driveway and stopped... stalled. Restarted, did it again after stopping. Brought it into the pits and adjusted the idle only a tad. Started her up and she was good to go. It ran ok, just doggy on the bottom untill radio response was getting shotty. Rx battery was dead. I thought I was pinching the fuel line but realized it was the pressure line. At any rate it took a good 8-10 seconds to stop running so I think I got the idle ok

How does this plug look? I took a few shots from different angles just in case light would give false impressions.

*edit*

oh btw, I forgot.. I did notice A LOT of little air bubbles in my fuel line between the tank and the filter, however the're was not near as much between the filter and carb

I think I may have the balance of the needles out of whack a bit. I havn't had it out again yet. I think I'm a bit rich on the bottom and probably too lean on top. I'll probablyhave to readjust my idle when I lean out the LSN too since it'll want to idle higher after Imake the adjustment.
