There is a trick that I heard that ifyour ignighter battery is dead then you can take the red charging clap found on most chargers nd put that there and it will ignight the plug. Will this work?

:ponder2: Are u saying use the charger to lite the plug? Wouldn't that be to much juice for the glow plug? I would think(which means I really don't know) it would just fry the plug.

a charger for a glow ignighter looks like a glow plug so no it wouldn't work

I'm talking about using a normal nicad charger and taking one of the clamps on the charger and sticking it on the tip of the glow plug and then plug in the charger press the charging button and try to turn the engine over.

I dont think it would work ( I could be wrong ) I think it might burn the element out . I dont know if the charger would detect it as a battery cell . Might not let you do it . I know if i put a dead ( completely dead ) cell on my charger it wont do anything .
