So I'm still quite new to RC, and am very interested in racing my Revo. Just wondering what I can or should be doing to my truck to get it quicker around a track. A friend just showed me his new Lose 8ight 2.0 truggy and holy moly does that thing rip. Anything I can do to get closer to how a truggy drives? I've changed the tires out already, and am guessing a sway bar would do wonders for a monster truck. What else should I be considering while still realizing it's a monster truck?

I'd try a 15/40 gearing and close-ratio gear set for the transmission. Also a CD and rear brake for handling. Then experiment with suspension and diff fluids until you like the way it drives.

I would say take a look at the Revo Platinum version, that would give you some good ideas, and go over the truck and make sure every thing is tight. http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitro/revo/revo5304/trx_revo5304.htm

Thanks for the help, I've been looking into the suggestions. I'm picked out a couple of things I want to try, can you guys double check I'm not missing any pieces if I put in an order at my LHS.

With the diff and brake those two are completely drop in? I assume the current brake becomes the front brake only then? Also, there are no extra drive shafts I need to order as well? Don't actually plan to order from Tower Hobbies, they just have nice pictures and quite helpful tech notes
