getting more power out from the savage

my buddy has a savage and wants more power out of it and wants to get a new pipe. is this going to actully give him that much more power? if so what would be the best all around pipe for bashing.

It will give him a noticable pwer increase. I would say the THS pipe set.

The S-25 comes with three head shims, you can take up to 2 of them with anything hitting. This will decrease head clearance, thus increasing compression, thus increasing horsepower.

I read this in RCCA and tried it and it really added quite a bit of power. You probably shouldn't run 30% nitro if you take out any of the shims.

A new pipe is also a good idea and I hear good this about the THS set.

Agreed, read the same thing in RCCA and plan on doing it to both my s25 mills. cheap way to get more power!!

I am going to try this tomorrow. Got to love free HP.

Buy a new motor Itwss plenty of power.I think... Maybe like a miniature cheyv 350.
