ok I'm going to be doing some racing just for fun at a local track and was wondering what parts i should by before i race. so far i have got 17mm wheel adapters dish wheels bowtie narrower tires, (soft compound) adjustable upper a arms, 4 bevel gear diffs, ribbed pipe, did some stuff to the shocks, performance air filter. dual disc brakes and i think thats it. and for gearing I'm think I'm running stock clutch bell and a 50 tooth spur. let me know if i should get anythng else, I'm trying not to spend over 230 and I'm just trying to get the stuff to be compettive

First thing I would do is pick up a new engine. Not something huge, but a good .28. A good cheap engine to look at is the Axial .28. I have the Picco .28 and really like it, but its about 200.

If you have stock radio gear, get a high torque steering servo, and make sure to get the cam-type servo saver if you don't have that already. These will greatly help your handling.

i'd probably gear for quicker acceleration. Get some LCG tvp's standard length so you get closer to the ground without sacrificing you turning radius.
