Well I recently decided to get back in the hobby of bashing. My T-Maxx has been sitting in a box in the garage ever since my house burned down. All my friends have decided to go electric thus my desire to get the Max out and running again. I'm still somewhat of a noob in the RC scene lol so I was wondering what you guys think I should upgrade..I have some alluminum upgrades here and there for bashing but now I'm looking for a little more punch and some tires to hit the streets. Any suggestions are highly appreciated in advance!! I'll be back on soon since I just got a job it'll be RC all day work al l night. Best part is I'm no longer on my mom's budget ;P

If you ran all of the fuel out of it and used after run oil before storing, it may fire right up. If there is old fuel gunk in the engine, you'll have to tear it a part and clean it all out. Seal the engine, get some new fuel line and glow plugs and make sure the tank cap is sealing.

I'm almost certain I ran out all the fuel..I'm curreny waiting for my compressor to fill up so i can go ahead and give it a few 150 psi bursts to get the gunk out, any suggestions as to what liquid i can use to clean?

I bash my 3.3 pretty hard and jump alot as well. I've really liked the 3 piece skid plate from RPM. it keeps junk from being "thrown" from the front tires from entering thr rear driveline and protects very well against bottom outs....$25 and worth it! ;)

As for the skid plates, I was lucky enough to find a collector around the block from me when I had my car running and he blessed with a brand new 3 pc by Integy...I am looking to replace those with RPM parts when that time is necessary.

Those will work in the short term but you are going to want to replace those. Integy looks great but it is much too soft to offer any real protection. RPM is the way to go in the long term.

Those titanium braces are great. My buddy has a set on his Maxx. They are very good if you are a basher like a lot of us here.
