Ok I am getting a savage .25 as soon as i have the money, hopefully in a month. My question is what do i need to do first to make it run great. Is the spider mod on this thing? i am going to get a new air filter. some rechargable batteries and maybe some servos what kind? I have had a asaavge before the .21 2 yrs ago, so i know these things are strong as hell. any tips or great starters would be appreciated! :boxing:

in the new kits, the cam style servo saver and the 4 bevel gear mod are included. These are a must. I would say do the following:

-4 bevel gear mod
-Cam servo saver
-6V Hump RX Pack
-Stronger steering servo (hitec 645mg is most common, and not to much $$)
-Ofna throttle linkage mod (not nessasary, but helps throttle and brake response)

Ill let ya know if anything else comes up, but I'm sure other people will have different ideas.

-Pat

and the tires if you are gonna do any tracking.the stock tires are to soft and cause the truck to push really bad in turns.i run tmaxx tires and wheels on mine and it handles tons better.also the stock pipe needs to be changed.
