ok i was thinking of getting a new motor was thinking of a 3.3 or rb323
what do u all think ? :ponder2:

RB all the way...I like RB concepts. There product rocks. And Is of great quality.

Did I say I like RB mills?

awesome power from this engine very easy to tune I've had a little problem with overheating due to a loose carb when you get it tightneg everything right up and also to really make sure seal up the backplate break it in using the traxxas dvd and you should be onto a winner

What do you plan on doing with your truck? If you going to race go with the 3.3. The rb is TOO MUCH to race with. RevoRancher will tell you the same thing!

I too am a fan of RB engines, but the one they put out for the revo has too much torque to race with.

do the center diff conversion on the revo and you can use the power...I've seen a few of them and holy crap what a difference it made in the Revo w/ a V-spec......just plants the wheels and tears ass....

I've been looking for info on this but can't find any. Do you got a link on this subject? I did find some info on Traxxas about the new 3.3 coming with one but couldn't find a price etc.

Thanks
Ray

There isn't much info about the diff option yet. Its not out yet and only the team traxxas drivers have them. From what they are saying it makes the truck insane! I'm still waiting on more info as well.

You can race just fine with a rb323 ......Christ

Rb323 vs a traxxas motor in the tuning dept. is night and day. I sold my 2.5r after a week of using it.

Os 18tm/tz or rb323 are all good choices.

edit: TZ needs some modification to fit.

Remy say what you will, but until you've used a 3.3 don't slam it. All of the big names are switching from the os to the trx engine. And I can't find one big name that races with the rb engine. Its too much to handle for the truck.

go with teh RB 323TM i have one in mine...just broke it in today..OMG WHEELIES EVERYWHERE...and I'm not eggargerating AT ALL!! this is how the revo SHOULD HAVE been. alittle tempermental on breakin...make sure you have a good plug in it..i kept having probs with it bogging or taking forever to start. The plug was a 5 and was apparently too cold. I got an OS 8 in it and it fine now.

Just to let all of you know...If you run the 323 in your revo your going to have to race against the UMT class at sanctioned races. The max size engine for a truck that weighs under 9lb 6oz is .2099, any larger and your up in the truggy class.
