I recently got a screw kit from Hex screws, I spent the most part of today tearing down my storm and replacing all the screws. I have to say,, very impressed with Hex screws.com. I didnt really think that getting a conversion kit for screws would really make all that much difference, I was wrong! I got my screw kit in two days, they were perfectly packed in seperate baggies, all marked and not a screw missing, they all went in without a hitch and I couldnt have stripped the hex heads if I tried! even some of the screws that I thought I stripped went in tight, after I finished with all of them, the whole buggy felt alot more solid . These are quailty screws and I can only recomend them to anyone looking for a good screw kit.

Sounds good, because there aint nothing like a tight ride. Looks like they come with stickers of the shrunken head, thats tight because I have a tat on my right arm of a shrunken head with tribal designs around it.

They are black case hardend steel, not stainles poop!

Oh yeah! Forgot about the decals they sent,, they are sweet!

I dont think you'll wanna use them as spares, All the screws I replaced I threw in the bags the new ones came in , they are now spares.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Everything is running fine. As things break I will probably replace the screws with the hardened screws but until then I'll leave the already working screws in place.

Yeah I hear ya EP! I was getting sick of snappin those hinge pin stainless screws so I got these, Then I noticed that alot of the screws I had were stripped in the chassis, so I started to replace them only to find that they the plastic wasn't stripped, but the screws were just poop and had done there time, I really wasn't sure why Hexscrews called it a conversion kit for the storm pro until I put them all in. Huge difference!! thought I would share!

i got the kit for the xxxnt 2 screws dont fit due to not being button and i can't figure out where some go... but other then that they are GREAT screws not on stripped
they go in real easy
AND DIRT CHEAP

All the bags are marked, If you have the build manual for your XXXNT your good to go! Just match them up to the thread size on the bags.

Just got mine today,i am impressed with the sorted out bags.can't wit till friday when i have all the stuff to start putting my NMT back together.

Pretty cool that you get a free dacal with your set to.

I used them for my Savage SS and I give them a great big

Definately going to get a set next payday, but what is the difference between the Storm kit and the Pro kit besides the price ? They both contain 200 pieces. My Storm started out an RTR but has overgone many upgrades. So which one to order ?

I'm using only 12.9 black oxide screws now. i dont have any regular screws left. they all either broke or stripped. they have a small logo on the head that i suppose is some sort of code for 12.9.

The storm kit will be the rtr screws and the pro will have the conversion kit, My storm was an Arr when I got it so I went with the Storm pro conversion screw kit and I have really been unable to tell the difference since I dont have both rtr or pro, all I know is they work very well and this is a great vendor to deal with! good luck with them!
