what temparature should my engine stay around? and what temperature should i know is too high. its getting cold here around 55-60 is that still ok to break in a new engine if i heat it wiht a hair dryer or heat gun first?

all engines are different, but most try to shoot for 200-270 degrees. thats a big gap but its becuase all engines are different. higher end of the temp range will be more power but more wear. vice versa for low end temps. i think 50-60* outside temp is good weather to break an engine in. using a heat gun will only make things easier and better. jsut make sure the engine reaches at LEAST 190 degrees during break-in.

Usually you don't want to go over 280 degrees, anything below that should be fine. As for break-in, I have broken enigines in at below 32 and they ran fine, still rnning fine too. (I my RS4 for christmas and my savage in febuary)
