Hi Everyone!

Want to take just a moment to get your impressions of the Axial mills. I've never run one and I know they've been around for a few years or so.

How have they performed from a reliability standpoint?
Do they hold a tune?
Are they durable?

Things like that...

I'm thinking of one for my Savage SS, so the application would be more bashing than anything else, but nice top speed would be a bonus.

Any insights appreciated.

They are the same engine as the K4.6, some seem to last a long time but many fail early in life, usually due to the bearing ball retainer letting go and the balls go through the engine. They are easy to tune usually but if your looking to step up a bit from stock, the LRP spec3 or Picco .28 are much better engines and will outperform the axial with ease.

Never been a fan of the axial motors. Great for crawling/scaling gear, bad for nitro IMO. LRP Spec 3 = amazing motor and a huge step up from the stocker.
