Gelled fuel

I got an rc10gt from my friend a couple months back but it hasnt been run in over two years. I'm in the process of cleaning it and just waiting for my new engine from santa . Well i guess my friend left fuel in the tank because it turned to gel. Should i try to take the tank apart and clean it or just buy a new one

You can flush it clean with denatured alcohol or fresh fuel. If it sat for that long, the lid seals probably shot. I'd just get a new one.
