Hey guys I am newibe to rc cars and I would like to kno what a good 2speed gearbox would be for my new .28 pullstart engine at the moment I'm reaching 60 to 70 km and I would like to get closer to 100 if that's possible

on the rig you have can you up the spur gear and clutch teeth to go faster. just a thought

Well, what vehicle do you have? Is there even a 2 speed made for it? Most buggies have a center diff which is a single speed. Give us some more info and we will try to help you out.

Well I have the DOMINATOR 1/8 BUGGY RTR WITH FORCE 25, RADIO, ELECTRIC START, 7.2V BATT but I took out the electric starter and put in a .28 engine in it, the engine is the same brand as the old one.And could you be less technical when speaking cause I would not understand

Thanks

ok what i was talking about for the teeth is on the clutch bell and the spur gear if you go up in the teeth count you will get more speed but loose some low end power. i did a bit of searching for you 2 speed and not sure if there is one to be had.

The buggy is renamed XTM XT2
Guys can u please help and if u can't find a gearbox could u at least suggest a new pipe for because I got a new engine on as I said above

a ofna or Ae pipe for 1/8 engines is a good place to start with. decide if you want a hi end pip or low end pipe..... low end for tourq and hi end for more speed.

Well I want to get more speed but don't want to lose my acceleration can I do that

it alwaya a give and take, more speed is going to away some of the low end, it may not be that much, you kinda have to test the gearing till you get them the way you want to.
