  1. Bashing
Whats everybodies opinion on gear ratios? spur, main and 1st and 2nd?not bashing anymore just running it around my yard?

I didn't get much response from the board with actual experience here -

I'm going to run a 42t spur to compensate for large tires

If I were you I'd look into a Robinson racing matched steel set - the 16/40 is what I would reccomend - should be the last set you every buy.

Heavy duty and provides the most gear mesh I've seen. Darn close to the stock ratio too - 2.5:1

i am running 16/36 right now in my revo with a 3.3 and a trinity pipe strapped to a vantage 2.5 chassis with extended arms... and its still a bit low... stock gears in the 2.5 tranny with a FOC...
i can't keep the front tires on the ground so i am probably gonna try a 17 or 18 tooth clutch bell and jump to the 3.3 tranny with the wide ratio gear set for more top end speed...
this 3.3 seems to have no trouble pulling the gearing i have right now, so i got some experimenting to do myself
