Well i definantly screwed up this time. I knew about the xxx-nt and the rc10 but since my LHS didnt have niether one at the time i couldnt wait and he started telling me about the evader and i thought well why not and i knew about duratrax's bad rep like calling them duratrash and well its true but i can't do nuthin bout it now. Well anyways i toasted a spur gear today and I'm wondering how many toothed spur gear replacement should i get? Because it started wheelieing alot so mayb i should put more power to the highend and get more speed. It came with a 60 toothed spurgear and since i want more highend speed should i go higher or lower than that?

If you want a higher top speed you will need to get a smaller spur gear or slightly bigger CB (clutch bell). You might want to try 58-54 for your spur (depending how much you want to gain on your top end)or increase your CB a tooth. Depending on your set up, you might not be able be change your spur to drastically due to not having enough room for your engine to slide toward your CB. here is a gear ratio chart i found on RRP's site. http://www.robinsonracing.com/gearratio.html this really applies to your situation because the highest spur on it is 60.

i wouldnt change the gear more that 2 sizes cause that by its self isa night and day difference

yeah i got just the stock one. i thought dont fix what isnt broke. I didnt mind the stock it was good and i thought if i went any lower i wouldnt be able to contol it and would probably break somethin else by flying into a curb a 65 km/h. The low end didnt need anything at all either it would wheelie when i gunned it and thats fine enough for me.
