i put on a 8.5 inch big tire kit....it takes a bit to get going but then really rocks,it has stripped the spur gear because of the tourque to get it going,so now heres my question....i want a gear ratio that will be the same as the original but with bigger tires......this should take away the hard start and stripping of the spur...do need allot of top speed so i can give up some off that

Don't know too much about the Maxx exactly but go for lower number of teeth on the CB or higher number on the spur gears, that should help a bit. If you want to go crazy with it you can find some gear ratio calculators online and figure out exactly what it was with the ols detup and then facto in the new tire size to see how much you need to change o bring it back to stock

well the higher the spur the more speed...i dont need speed i need toruqe so i need low spur high cb...just need to know the combination

No, for a given number of teeth on the CB if you increase the spur gear then the motor / CB has to rotate that many more times to produce the same number if revolutions into the transmission, there are a bunch of ways to change ratios you just need to decide whats best for you

I have Moab Xl's on my E Maxx and I am running a 76t spur with a 10t pinnion which is pretty low but I have no problem turning those big tires, so to answer your question yes bigger spur gear and a smaller cb = more torque...
