Got an element gatekeeper over the weekend. It was a RTR truck and got all the “extra” parts and manuals with it. It came a the gears to make it 26/54 overdrive. Will that increase or decrease wheel speed?

not sure what stock gearing is ...if pinion is larger it will increase wheel if spur is lower teeth count that will also increase speed but you better what temps

"The technical definition of overdrive is this: If the driven gear is smaller—and therefore spins faster than the driving gear—that is overdrive. If the driven gear is larger—and therefore rotates slower than the driving gear—that is underdrive."

That will make it slightly faster.
