Hello fellow rcist, how are you're all days goin?? Well I'm kinda having some issues with my revo pumping gas. I know the 3.3 runs, I've heard it try to run when I've taken the fuel line off the carb and covered the exhaust tip to prime it real well. But only ran for a sexond or 2. I've made sure I've got no holes in my gas lines and bought a new stock pipe, still hasn't fixed the problem.... any advice or ideas????

Is this a used 3.3 engine and have you seen it run before? And how much experience do you have with nitro engines? Go to the Traxxas web site and look under the heading of "support". Find the manual for 3.3 Revo and look at the carb settings. The gap in the carb should be around 1mm. The low speed needle should be flush with the valve body around 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 from closed and the high speed needle will be 4 to 4 1/2 turns out from closed.

Check the gas tank O ring on the fill cap. I just had to replace mine because it went bad and the tank would not pressurize to push the nitro through.

Its a week old motoe, bought it brand new. It does run and run well. I do have the carb tuned right..I ave also chrcked that oring, it seems fine. The whole fuel system hold pressure..

How about trying a new glow plug, since you said the motor is new, it is prone to going through a few plugs. Also make sure your ignitor is fully charged or has a new battery (if your using one).

+1 on what Chaos says. And are you using the EZ start system or a separate ignitor? I use the starter but I use a separate ignitor. And take your plug out and hook it up and watch it glow for at least 10 seconds to verify that you have a good glow. I have had many problems with glow plug ignitors that wouldn't hold a charge. (until I made my own with 4 sub C batteries!) Have you checked for an obstruction down in the tank that would block the flow? Does fuel come through the line to the carb when you put a little pressure on the tank? I'm running out of ideas here...............

Thanks guys for all the help.... but I've found the problem, my arm I guess just couldn't pull it fast enuf to prime the system. So I just pull some fuel in the carb, and on she goes... :-) thanks again though for all your advice 'it really helps...
