$4.06 a gallon....unchanged for 5 months...no up or down. Webbage is right petro/gas was crazy even a few years ago when I lived there.

I remember when Diesel was so cheap that we would use it just to pour out on the ground to get rid of weeds and ants and such because it was cheaper than weed killer and worked better.

Now, its a good bit more than gas. It's nice having 650+ pound feet of torque, but it's a bitch to fill up that 2500 HD duramax. I have to let the pump run to $100, then reset it and scan my card again to put another $60 or so in the tank just to fill it up.

I'm going to be driving the biggest rental truck they offer from Atlanta to here this weekend, about 600 miles, getting 6-8 miles per gallon. That's going to be a hefty bill.

nah we got our truck super cheap and don't have a milage rate, just the diesel pretty much, plus the labor for the Mexican guys I hired to load it.

About $3.60 for premium (Which is what the Subaru drinks) and $3.49 for Diesel. Too bad the WRX only gets 28ish mpg. :(

Down another 10 cents overnight to 3.19. At 10 cents a day, a few more months and it will be down to 19 cents a gallon, just like when I started driving. :hehe:

Unbelievable. I just got back, and since this afternoon, it's now dropped to 2.99. I'm not complaining, but we all know it's just a brief respite.

Quick, buy up 10,000 gallons! Start up a new US reserve. :)

$2.89 today.
I moved from New York to Tennessee in January of 2000, and Diesel fuel was .99. I remember that because it cost me $50.00 to fill the 50 gallon tank on my truck, an amount I had NEVER before spent in a gas station.
At the same time, gas for the car was $1.19.

2.88 about 30mins ago best its been in a while down here

$2.63 - I'm starting to like the down economy, I can afford my truck more and more each day now. :D

Pffft.

Still $3.39-$3.45 around here.

Cali is always the first to raise gas prices and the last to lower them it seems like.

The real pisser is that the bay area has 5 oil refineries (Valero, Shell Tesoro, Conoco, Chevron) within a 30 miles radius of each other right in the middle of it.

Can you say 6.35 a gallon.

Actually I don't know what I'm complaining about. I don't even own a car. :p:
