Got a little garden going at my Mother's place. Last year didn't go very well. Critters ate everything. This year I put up an electic fence. She hasn't had enough hose to reach it if we need to water. I've got this little wheelbarrow cart with a 55 gallon drum in it that I pull behind the mower. Just fill the drum at the house, drag it to the garden, unhook and park the mower back in the garage.
Works pretty good most of the time....
Last week was a real bear. I'm getting up between 6 and 7, leaving the house until time to get ready for work at 3.
Saturday I was totally exausted, but I wanted to do a little work.
I hook my little cart up and drag it to the garden.
When I unhook from the mower, I find out the drum is behind the axle. (Pretty easy to tell since the tounge of the cart is now hung up on the fender of the mower.) I'm by myself, holding this barrel and trying to get the tounge unhooked from the fender.
Now I'm mad, so I dump the barrel out on the ground.
Since I'm standing in water, I back up. Been a long story, but remember the electric fence...
Yep, backed right up in that damn thing. Man it rocked my world.
Not sure if I'm going to make it as a farmer.
