RC Driving Style
Does anyone have one of these cars? I have some questions. Just bought one and need to know what to expect, whats going to break first, what spare parts I will need?

Sorry. Yes I am. New to on road, been a savage owner mainly.
 
Fusion

I have a Fusion .21 but I haven't broken anything yet even though I've had one minor scrape with a curb. I would suggest that you first find an area with LOTS OF ROOM! Go easy on the trigger until you learn how this car handles. As far as what parts will break first : Take any 1/10 car and bring it up to 60 or 70 mph, then run it into ANY stationary object = one totaled 1/10 car. Seriously this car will leave you with an open mouth when you see the acceleration and top speed. Like I said go easy at first and learn the car. :whhooo:
 
Thanks Havoc, I'll keep your advice in mind. Do you think I should go with a foam tire or stick with the rubber stock ones. I'll mainly be a parking lot driver. Also I haven't looked in the manual yet but are their diff oils I need to maintain? It kind of sucks it is a RTR I would have liked to put it together so I would know the thing inside and out. Again thanks for your help.
 
I'd personally go with Team Sorro Slicks, It will make ur car handle, accel and eve stop better, and that car needs all the stop it can get.

If you are trying to set a land speed record then I would go with a belted rubber tire because they don't swell as much as the non belted rubber tires. The swelling which occurs with the non belted tire reduces the tire batch area which can cause a loss of traction. If you are going to be running high speed oval or a round course with sweeping turns I would go with the foams. The diffs on the fusion are adjustable ball diffs when they start to feel gritty then it is time to pull out the diff grease and lube the balls and rings.
