Have any of you guy's ever thought about making your own R\C ride? like straight from scratch.

I was thinkin something a little larger then 1\8th scale with a weed wacker engine lol...

"ponders the thought of taking apart his Eager Beaver weed wacker for the motor"

:D

yeah there is a couple dudes that sell like 1/4 scale buggys and stuff online that they say you can put your small child in. I mean you guys know I don't like kids but I even think thats scary. X

COOL!!!

One of my lhs's is starting to carry 1/5 scale touring cars and hop-ups and they are awesome. He had one that runs on 108 octane fuel. Kits start around 800:)

Yea I have been kicking around the idea of a 6x6, chain driven model like the 6x6 ATVs.
Small Parts Inc has drive chains and sprockets that are small enough.
My idea is to have a .21 engine putting power to a Rustler Tranny. Then use the output shafts to drive each side with band brakes (like some go carts) to lock one side while putting power to the other.
