Hunter,

The rims are made by American Racing and these are the 636 series they usually run about $200-300 each.

I almost bought these when they first came out. I have noticed a lot of Jeeps around here are sporting them.

LoL - no my lil VW Bettle...

actually i have a jeep cherokee i thought about putting them on, but then I would wany bigger tires, and to do that i would want to put it on a 2-3" lift, then I would need this, then that...and the list goes on and on. So I left it as it is. :D

What year is your Jeep??? Does it have solid axles front and rear??

92 solid front axle right sitting on top of leaf springs right???

I have good news for you, you can lift it 3.25in for $00.00:D All you have to do is what is called a leaf swap. You can do it in about half a day. Just swap the axles to the under side of the leaf springs. I know it sounds easy but there is a catch to it and here it comes, the axles must be flipped so the pads that hook (rest on) to the leafs are on the top side of the axle and not on the bottom of the axle like they are now.

Yeah, I have done this with a CJ5 before. The only problem with me is if I'm gonna do it to my own jeep I'm gonna go all out, full suspension and all. I'll tell you this, I dont know much of anything for jeeps that are cheap.

Though I did have a chance to do a complete suspension lift on it a while back...I did some computer work for a performance shop that happen to have a kit for it he wanted to sell it and install it for me for a lil over $200. I was poor then as I am now, so i didnt do it.

It does cost you if you want to have a good 4X4, I know I've got about $6,000 into my truck and I still need the deep water kit. But the drive line is bullet proof and so are the bumpers.

I would like to dump money in this one, its a great jeep and looks even better, and I have all kinds of ideas for it, but I know as soon as i get outta school its I'm gonna be off and buying a new grand or a fullsize 4dr pickup.

Thats just why you dump the bucks into this one, you know your not going to want to take a brand new truck/jeep into the back woods were it might get banged up.

Hey woodie what is coming soon, am I the only one that got the sig so far?
