Go for it! I use 25% in mine and it's an original with a pro .15. The difference is more power. Also the higher nitro content the easier it is to tune. Anything above 25 and you might need to look into head shims and different glow plugs.
 
most of the time over the counter nitro is mostly methanol. if it catches on fire in the day light its hard to see the flames, but water will put out the fire. i carry a small bottle of water, but be sure and mark it, so you dont put in a car/truck.
 
Dont forget if you going for a higher percentage nitro you will need a cooler plug other wise you with put a whole in your piston . Are you using a hot plug with that 10% ?
