My LHS carries Monster Horsepower, Blue Thunder ,Traxxas top fuel and a few others which has a higher oil content. I am more worried about making my TRX 2.5 last till I get my new engine next summer so I dont want a low oil content.any other fuel is welcome

Is your 2.5 brand new? The 3-5% difference between your 4 fuels won't make much of a difference. As long as you don't run your engine lean or hot your engine will last a while. 4 -5 gallons which is ALOT of run time, do you plan on runnin that much before next summer?

I use the monster hp 20% for a new mill.
And 30% monster HP after 1/2 gallon.
Never had a problem.

It says 12% Oil on both bottles, so we don't know the actual content.

the engine has had about 2 gallons of top fuel at 20% and I 'll be running about 2 tanks a week till summer not much time between work and school.

I've used Monster 20% and Byron's 20% and both worked well. Just watch your Temps.

Keep using top-fuel...they say that is the best fuel for that engine...

I've used all kinds of fuel. In my Maxx I've used Trinity Monster, and Platnum, TopFuel, and Odonnel. all 20%. Though I still run the Platnum from time to time because I have a quarter gallon of it still, I have to say that I have the most consistant luck with the Odonnel. The Odonnel, or the Monster was recomended to me for my .21 OS VZBon my buggy for the higher oil content, and it has proved to be good for all my RC cars. Except the MTX-3, only because I just got it, and haven't ran it just yet.

I'm kind of partial to Blue Thunder. That smurf juice just seems to love my engines...or is it the other way around. Either way, the blue stuff works just fine.

Odonnell is a great fuel and the Top-Fuel is only good 4 the traxxaz 2.5 but notthe 1 i had. And blue thunder is a very good fuel but the change there oil content a few times......Odonnell tops all....

where to buy blue thunder in 5 or 10 gallon jugs

Hi
Where Is The Best Place To Buy Blue Thunder Fuel In Bulk.
Thank You

The first gallon I ever ran was Odonnel through a TRX 2.5. After that I tried Top Fuel (before I knew any better) and was extremely disappointed in performance. I have a full gallon of 20% top fuel just sitting there now. dunno if I'll even use it or not

don't know if yous can get it but i've settled on tornado fuel, 25% from start to finish, got around 5 gallons through the last mill, and this one's been run in just the same on 25 again, they've put the oil content up lately too
