ok i am going to sound like a newbie but i am curious ,i am tired running the same fuel (S&W) and i want to get a better named brand fuel ,hobby shop will not get anything other then this S&W crap ,so i am going to drive get 3 or 4 gallon from a different shop but will it be ok sitting on a shelf in a cabinet till i use it up??

BTW:S&W fuels are mixed here in pa and i can get it for $13.50 a gallon if i go to his house .110 mile 1 way ,not a bad price at all but it just doesn't perform like other fuels i have used .

As long as there unopened and the little red plug is in there, you should be good for a while. I buy mine 2 gallons at once (2 seperate jugs) and just opened my 2nd jug less than a week ago after I bought it in Feb. and didnt notice any differance. Just be sure to keep them in a cool dry spot up off of the floor and youll be fine. What fuel ya planning on runnin now?

put it in a cool dry place out of the sunlight. In the back of a closet is good.

honestly i am not sure, was thinking white lightening but dont like the low oil content ,Byron's maybe ,top fuel .or hpi fuel ,but not switching from 20%
what do you run?
i just dont think this fuel has as good a power as top named stuff ,know what i mean??

I only run O'donnell 30% now. It is AWESOME. The switch from 20% to 30% was just amazing in general. I've ran a ton of different types, and this fits me the best. I let my fuel sit in my garage for a long time, and it seems to perform about the same when I take it out as when I put it there. You should be fine if you get it and store it.

I used to run Byron's 20%. I only run 30% now. I have tried o'donnel and trinity monster horsepower. I will use trinity over o'donnel if I ad to choose. Ever since I changed to Byron's 2 years ago, I never looked back. I won't use anything else.

Tuning is consistant. Power is excellent. The oil content is perfect and it is a cleaner burning fuel.

I use Trinity Monster Horsepower in my Savage (All I've ran in there so far) and I really like it. In my maxx I was running Blue Thunder and I really liked that as well, but it ran warmer than when I ran top fuel, but seemed more punchy. I run 20% as well.

for the last year i've run 30% white lighting in all my RC's and the performance is there in spades. Don't let the low oil content fool you they use a higher quality oil then most of the others so they don't need as much of it. I was a bit skeptical at first but after tearing my engines down after a gallon they looked pretty much the same the fuel dosen't discolor the internals since it has no dye's in the fuel and the oil burns fairly clean if it even burns at all.
As for other fuels i've tried Odonalls good stuff but the fumes are extremly toxic and the sludge it leaves behind is positivly rancid, but it does run cool with good power.
Byron's first fuel I ever tried and that first gallon sucked went back to it a few years later and it was much better runs cool with good power.
Top Fuel can we say way to much oil content ran hot and lacked low end punch.
Blue Thunder Race actually ran very cool and made great power just could never find it in stock.
Monster horspower made good power but was sometimey on the temps gave a very narrow tuning window.

I run O'donnell 20%. My first gallon on my savage was byrons. I didnt like it. It was hard to keep tuned, but I love the smell. O'donnell smells nasty but makes it really easy to keep it running consistant.
